A man was killed by his pet Boa

Cory Byrne died after the 9ft-long snake wrapped itself around his shoulders and neck, strangling him.
He was showing the animal to his roommate's girlfriend, draping it over his shoulders, when it started to squeeze. The victim's sister Kayla said the snake didn't attack him: "It was scared. When you put a baby down it grabs on to you that's what kind of reflex it was."

She said the family warned him it was dangerous.
